Mind the Gap
Brought to you by: Aargauer Kunsthaus
Game type: Mobile, Multi-Player Game
Duration: 20-30 mins
Used by: Aargauer Kunsthaus
Inspired by the popular card game Cards Against Humanity or Der Wahre Walter, this digital game dares players to make silly, creative, and snarky observations about art. Players form teams and complete humorous fill-in-the-blank statements about pieces in the gallery. They’re encouraged to look closely at art and move around the museum to discover the collection. The person with the best quip wins!

The game is played in groups of four or more over several rounds.
A moderator is chosen from the group. A work appears on the screen and must be found on-site. Once the work is found, a fill-in-the-blank text appears. Each players chooses a word that best fits the work. After all players have entered their answers, the answers appear on all screens and players defend their choices.
The moderator chooses the winner and the next round begins. After 8-10 rounds, the game is over and the person with the most points wins. Thanks to the randomized fill-in-the-blank texts and answer options, the game can be played several times.
